Description

This Kit Fits:

20011-2019 Ford Explorer 2WD and 4WD

This kit is compatible with all of the 2011-2019 Ford Explorer’s, 2wd’s and 4×4’s – including the Police Interceptor option.

If you use your Explorer at all like an adventure vehicle or even just want it to look like you do, this kit will help you out…

PLEASE MEASURE THE DIFFERENCE IN HEIGHT BETWEEN FRONT AND REAR BEFORE YOUR ORDER…

To fit the different front rakes, we make 3 kits.

FRONT ONLY ~ 2″ part #102009, a couple of front and rear kits ~ 2.5″#102015 & a 3″#102035 FRONT size, all rear parts are the same size.

All of these heights are to fit the rake of your vehicle, your vehicle couple de different from the one parked right beside you in the parking lot – you need to measure yours first before ordering to get the look YOU want.

This Truxxx lift kit uses the STOCK Ford Struts and Springs ( some are softer why the front has different heights) to retain the OEM ride, we include shock brackets to use stock or stock length shocks

***Note that Ford NEVER intended the 4×4/AWD version of an Explorer to operate like a classic Bronco, using this truck off-road will not make your Explorer a true off-road vehicle, this vehicle is designed for dirt and gravel ROADS ( not trails, not potholes, not your best impersonation of Ken Block) travelling to the cabin or fishing hole. Using this to make your Explorer into an “off-road” vehicle will not end well – the chassis, transmission, steering and suspension are not designed for off-road use.

***We make this from the finest steel we can buy. High Quality North American milled DOM tubing, some cold rolled steel and 8.8/10.9 grade fasteners, you cannot buy a better built kit for your truck.

Every Truxxx kit is made using Canadian or USA Mill Certified Steel and laser cut to precision tolerances using OEM drawings.

Each front and rear kit kit contains two front strut mounts, two rear strut mounts, 2 shock brackets, plus all hardware needed.

Also included are detailed instructions and complete alignment specs ( additional alignment camber bolts not included as they are NOT normally needed)

**Measure your rake front and rear so you buy the correct kit **

***ALWAYS test fit wheels and tires AFTER lift install***

***265/60R18 tires fit MOST Explorers if you use a stock style offset rim – something in a +35/40MM range***

I have put Truxxx lifts on my last 2 Expeditions and my wife’s 2017 Ford Explorer Sport AWD. My 2014 Expedition has the appeal and rugged look for us men out there who wish to drive a SUV, absolutely love how it sits, rides and looks aggressive. I’m running Toyo Open Country ATII 305/55/20.
The Explorers are nice middle level SUV’s but set too low for me and the wife, thankfully she agrees, so we put the Truxxx 2.25 front and 1.25 rear lift on it with Toyo Celsius CUV A 275/50/20 All Season tire, which is a custom order tire since its OEM for Audi SUVs. We did have Cooper Discovery HT Plus 285/50/20 but didn’t’ like the ride and the handling of those tires, so beware of those. We did loose some get up power with the lift and tires, which to us is not a biggie, we rather have the look and under clearance for where we live in Oklahoma and where we drive too.
I highly recommend this brand, have used these lifts on 3 different vehicles and when the Bronco comes out, I’m ordering a lift for it as well….thanks for the wonderful product.
